ABOUT TACKLE
At TACKLE, we specialize in providing professional defender training to young soccer players in the local community. Our mission is to ensure that they have the right tools to perform safely and efficiently in the game, while also enjoying the experience. A key component of our training program is the flexibility to adapt and perform comfortably in a variety of formations. Whether it's a 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1, or any other formation, we prepare our players to understand and execute their roles effectively within different tactical setups. This adaptability not only improves their individual skills but also enhances their ability to contribute to team success, regardless of the formation being used. TACKLE's coaching staff is made up of experienced individuals with a passion for the game, and we are committed to helping our players reach their full potential.
MEET COACH CRISTIAN
COACH CRISTIAN FEDOR
Cristian Fedor is a licensed UEFA soccer coach with over 18 years of experience coaching youth and professional teams. A former professional player with notable achievements in Europe and Asia, he is deeply committed to his players' success. He holds a UEFA License , a Canadian National License, and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He played for multiple clubs in Romania, Brunei, and Malaysia, participating in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and ASEAN Champions League, and winning multiple tournaments in Brunei. Fedor also represented Romania at U-16, U-18, and U-21 levels. As a coach, he has been Technical Director of the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL) and Head Coach of Unirea Dej in Romania, guiding players to national team selections in Romania and Canada, with some achieving international recognition. His roles with the Romanian Football Federation and technical advisory positions with Romania's U-19 and U-21 teams have solidified his expertise in player identification and development.

Individual Sessions
Our individual defender training sessions offer personalized attention and tailored drills that focus on enhancing your positioning, tackling, marking, and overall defensive awareness. With a 1:1 approach, our expert coaches will work closely with you to identify and strengthen areas of improvement, ensuring you develop into a formidable defender. The effectiveness and availability of these individual sessions are contingent upon the implementation of the "Rule of Two." This rule ensures that every session is conducted with at least two adults present, providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Semi-Private Sessions
Our semi-private sessions offer the perfect opportunity for players of all ages and skill levels to make rapid improvements to their game. Each lesson or package of lessons is meticulously customized to meet the individual needs of the player, ensuring a tailored experience that addresses their unique strengths and areas for development. Recognizing that no two players are the same, our programs are designed to best suit your or your child's skill set, providing the attention and guidance needed for optimal growth.

Group Sessions
Our specialized group sessions offers the essential tools to elevate your defensive skills. With only 18 spots, our small class size ensures personalized attention. Weekly sessions provide tailored insights, techniques, and feedback, helping you progress steadily. Our structured curriculum covers foundational skills and advanced techniques, while group sessions foster healthy competition and team dynamics, crucial for becoming a better defender. Guest appearances by pro players add inspiration. Suitable for all ages and levels, players are grouped by ability.
